The Ancient Science of Qi Men Dun Jia: Universal Laws and Life Transformation

The Tao Te Ching states: “Nature speaks rarely. A whirlwind doesn’t last all morning, nor does a sudden shower last all day. Who makes these things? Heaven and Earth. If even Heaven and Earth cannot make things last forever, how much less so can humans? Therefore, those who follow the Tao align with the Tao; those who follow virtue align with virtue; those who lose their way align with loss. When one aligns with the Tao, the Tao gladly accepts them; when one aligns with virtue, virtue gladly accepts them; when one aligns with loss, loss gladly accepts them.”

Philosophy teaches us that the world is material, matter is in motion, and this motion follows patterns. Since there are patterns, we can understand, grasp, utilize, and align with them. By mastering these patterns of material motion, we can guide our daily practices and predict future developments.

We know that patterns of material motion in the world progress from basic to advanced: mechanical motion, physical motion, chemical motion, biological motion, and social motion. A mechanical engineer who deeply understands mechanical motion can predict the past, present, and future conditions of mechanical equipment. A physicist who masters physical laws can grasp the past, present, and future developments of physical phenomena. A chemist who studies chemical laws can understand the past, present, and future states of chemical matters. Similarly, this applies to biological and social movements. The study of numerology uniquely explores the patterns of all things in the world from multiple perspectives and levels. It is a comprehensive discipline encompassing astronomy, meteorology, calendar systems, geophysics, hydrogeology, geomagnetism, information science, operations research, aesthetics, psychology, medicine, environmental landscape, architecture, optoelectronics, astrology, qigong, human body science, life information science, biosphere science, cosmology, history, literature, folklore, sociology, and other sciences. Our ancestors, through years of observation, understanding, and practice, inheritance, development, and accumulation, consolidated this unique discipline – ancient Chinese numerology, which has its own distinct system and theoretical framework. Mastering this theoretical system allows one to predict all things in the world and change their development through environmental feng shui adjustments.

The feng shui method of Yin Pan Qi Men Dun Jia is a crucial component and the soul of Qi Men Dun Jia. Its principles for analyzing and managing environments are profoundly mysterious, with theories and techniques unmatched worldwide. A Qi Men chart reflects the distribution of universal energy fields on Earth. The I-Ching emphasizes the resonance between Heaven and humans, teaching that forms manifest in Heaven and take shape on Earth. People and things on Earth are intimately connected with celestial constellations, meaning they are not isolated but constantly influenced by universal energy fields. Therefore, Qi Men’s approach to feng shui is the most miraculous and theoretically grounded, surpassing all other feng shui methods in effectiveness, producing immediate and dramatic results.

The art of “Moving Stars and Shifting Constellations” in Qi Men feng shui is skillfully handled through Qi Men charting. Forms in Heaven manifest as shapes on Earth, with earthly objects corresponding to heavenly phenomena. Humans follow Earth’s laws, Earth follows Heaven’s laws, Heaven follows the Tao, and the Tao follows nature. Humans are microcosms while Heaven is the macrocosm, breathing and pulsing together in intimate connection. Each form corresponds to a phenomenon, each shape channels specific energy, and when energy is sufficient, it can alter the surrounding spatial state. The feng shui environment changes accordingly, affecting those who live within it – this is the mystery of “Moving Stars and Shifting Constellations” in feng shui. This grand method in Qi Men feng shui uses symbols representing Heaven, Earth, Human, and Spirit in the Qi Men chart to position feng shui objects in optimal locations, receiving specific universal energy fields to adjust environmental energy structure distribution, elevate environmental energy levels, and effectively change the fortunes of those living in that environment.

Someone asked, “What is the best feng shui?” I answered, “There isn’t one.” Because feng shui cannot exist in isolation from human factors – discussing environment alone is unscientific and against the Tao, as it prevents the unity of Heaven, Earth, Human, and Spirit. Feng shui is human-centered; it exists because of people. Therefore, our Yin Pan Qi Men Dun Jia feng shui method is people-oriented, focusing on individuals, carefully considering their unique characteristics, choosing optimal timing, entering their spatial field, and changing their destiny by altering their living environment’s field effects.

Moreover, where there are people, there is feng shui. All physiological, psychological, and social environments affecting people are feng shui. Therefore, our concept of feng shui is broad, not limited to modifying living, working, and studying environments, but also including clothing coordination, name planning, behavioral guidance, psychological counseling, and network building (relationships) – comprehensive feng shui management. All these planning methods are guided by theories from our Yin Pan Qi Men Dun Jia. The symbolism in Yin Pan Qi Men Dun Jia is the richest among all predictive arts in the world, encompassing everything and constantly evolving with the times, continuously being supplemented and developed. All existing things in the universe can be simulated using Qi Men symbols. A major feature of Yin Pan Qi Men Dun Jia is direct symbol reading, avoiding extremely complex reasoning, making it simple and practical, aligning with the principle that great wisdom is simple. The method of determining coordinates is very dialectical, flexible, and highly logical.

Yin Pan Qi Men Dun Jia is a high-level feng shui predictive science integrating prediction, environmental adjustment, and behavioral guidance. Therefore, we can take full responsibility for our clients, informing them of various favorable and unfavorable factors in their surrounding environment for achieving their vision, honestly telling them the expected results of adjustments, and then practically monitoring and adjusting each step of their development until their vision is realized. Many of my friends have stepped into important leadership positions this way, with our Taoist feng shui maximizing their potential.

Additionally, some past feng shui methods had flaws where practitioners paid a price during environmental adjustments – while others’ careers flourished, the feng shui master declined; while others recovered from illness, the feng shui master was hospitalized; some even died young. This happened because they didn’t understand that information in the universe is interconnected. When treating others’ environments, they entered the client’s environmental field and were affected by it. Common numerological methods couldn’t show their position in the environmental field or predict how adjustments would affect them. However, our Yin Pan Qi Men Dun Jia doesn’t have this problem because it walks with the Tao, representing a microcosm of the universe. In this specific environment, all relevant information, including the feng shui master’s own, is contained within the chart. When adjusting for others, we first see our own situation, improving both the client’s and our own conditions, achieving positive universal information synchronization and resonance. Therefore, practitioners of our school are blessed – we walk with the Tao and follow the law in everything we do. Our actions are approved by the divine (universal laws), so after each feng shui adjustment, natural phenomena respond – the weather changes with overcast skies, wind, rain, or extraordinary signs.
